The grips on this page fit the Ruger®* New Model Blackhawk®, New Model Super Blackhawk®, New Model Single-Six®, Wrangler®, Old Army®, and Vaquero® (Old Model, XR3-RED frame). They will not fit the New Model Vaquero®, the 50th Anniversary Blackhawk®, the Super Blackhawk® with the square trigger guard, or the Super Blackhawk® Hunter Edition with the 7 1/2" barrel. The exception to this is the .44 Magnum version of the New Model Vaquero®, which has the XR3-RED frame. These grips fit the .44 Magnum version of the New Model Vaquero®. If you're unsure which Vaquero® model you have, the Old Model has a serial number with a 2-digit prefix, and the New Model has a serial number with a 3-digit prefix (for example, 512-48556). If you are still unsure whether or not these grips will fit your gun, PLEASE CALL US. There will be a re-stocking fee of $8 for Ruger® grips returned because they were purchased for a gun they should not fit.
If you know Ruger® single-action revolvers well, you know that there are variances in the frames from the factory, even within a model type. Our engineers went through the extensive process of testing many different Ruger frames of different models during the design phase to ensure the best possible fit on every frame.
